3. What questions were raised because of the 10 hours of experience?
  • what's the difference between art director and graphic designer?
  • how high is the demand for art directors/graphic designers?
  • which career path would you recommend for me?
  • now that you (my mentor) are officially my mentor, what would would be a good project to start off my portfolio?
  • what do I need to know about being a graphic designer?
  • what is Google's big picture?
  • what exactly is drawing 100 logos supposed to teach me?
4.What is the most important thing you gained from this experience? Why?
This mentorship taught me that there's a bigger picture in every graphic or picture. There is more to every visual than meets the eye. This concept is very important in drawing logos and designing anything.

5.How did what you did help you choose a topic? Please explain.
I originally intended to look into dentistry or badminton. At first I was inclined to badminton because it's a sport that I really enjoy. I didn't want to get into dentistry because although it's a noble profession and it has high pay, I couldn't see myself enjoy it as a career in the future. With badminton, I didn't really have much of a future with that, since I'm only an amateur player. With both of those choices knocked out, I decided to go with something I found more familiar.
I really enjoyed the assignment my mentor gave me. It involved drawing and design, two things I really like to do, and even before this project, I knew I wanted to do something that involved drawing. I thought, "I can see myself doing this for a living in a couple years." This experience made up my mind about going into graphic design.
